Day 01

Hanoi – Arrival & City Tour

Welcome to Hanoi, the vibrant capital of Vietnam, known for its rich history, culture, and lively streets. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the city center.

After check-in, enjoy some free time to relax after your long flight.

In the afternoon, begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi and an important national landmark. Stop for photographs outside the iconic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, built in 1070, famous for its tranquil gardens and traditional architecture.

Later, enjoy a relaxing walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, followed by a stroll through the historic Hanoi Old Quarter, also known as “The 36 Streets,” where each street was traditionally dedicated to a specific trade.

Day 02

Halong Bay – Overnight Cruise

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Around 08:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transferred to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural wonders.

On arrival at the cruise port, receive a warm welcome from the cruise staff and complete check-in formalities. Board your overnight cruise and begin sailing through the emerald waters of Halong Bay, surrounded by thousands of limestone karsts and dramatic rock formations, often called the “Descending Dragon Bay.”

Enjoy lunch on board, followed by afternoon activities such as visiting limestone caves and grottos, swimming or kayaking (weather permitting), cruising past floating fishing villages, and getting close views of scenic islets.

Later, return to the cruise for a cooking demonstration, followed by a delightful dinner on board. In the evening, relax on the deck or participate in onboard activities.

Day 03

Ho Chi Minh City – Halong Bay → Hanoi → Ho Chi Minh City

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Halong Bay, as sunlight gently illuminates the limestone islands rising from the sea.

After breakfast, continue cruising through scenic areas where uniquely shaped islets are named after their forms, such as Sail Island, Fisherman’s Head Rock, Butterfly Rock, and Turtle Islet.

Check out from your cabin and enjoy brunch on board as the cruise returns to the pier. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle bus.

Later, meet your driver and transfer to Noi Bai Airport (without tour guide) for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City (air tickets excluded), also known as Saigon — Vietnam’s most dynamic metropolis.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the local tour guide and transferred to your downtown hotel for check-in.

Day 04

Ho Chi Minh City – City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnels

After breakfast, you will be picked up from District 1 between 07:30 – 08:00 AM for a guided city tour.

Visit the Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Independence Palace, a significant landmark marking the end of the Vietnam War in 1975.

Continue with photo stops at the Notre Dame Cathedral (outside view only) and the colonial-era Central Post Office Saigon. Next, visit the War Remnants Museum, offering deep insight into Vietnam’s history and wartime experiences.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, drive to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used during the war. Watch an introductory video and crawl through a short section of the tunnels to experience life underground. Optional shooting experience is available (at extra cost).

Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.

Day 05

Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (My Tho)

After breakfast, depart between 07:30 – 08:00 AM for My Tho, located along the Mekong River.

Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful 19th-century Buddhist temple. Then board a sampan to cruise along the Mekong River, passing the famous Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands.

Stop at Unicorn Island for a walk through countryside lanes, fruit orchards, and enjoy tropical fruits with traditional folk music performed by locals. Ride a hand-rowed sampan through the peaceful Thoi Son Canal, visit a honey-bee farm, and see a coconut candy workshop.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy cycling around Tan Thach Village to experience rural life, or relax in a hammock surrounded by nature.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City late in the afternoon.
