Upon arrival at Leh Airport (approx. 11,500 ft above sea level), you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Since Ladakh is a high-altitude region, proper acclimatization is extremely important to avoid altitude sickness. Guests are advised to rest for a few hours and stay hydrated.

In the evening (only if you feel comfortable), you may step out for light sightseeing:

• Visit Leh Palace, a historic structure offering panoramic views of Leh town
• Explore Shanti Stupa, a peaceful Buddhist monument known for sunset views
• Walk through Leh Market to experience local culture, cafes, and shopping

Note: Avoid any physical exertion on Day 1.

After breakfast, begin your journey to explore the unique landscapes and cultural sites around Leh.

Drive along the Indus River and visit:

• Hall of Fame Museum, maintained by the Indian Army, showcasing Ladakh’s history and sacrifices
• Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a sacred site associated with Guru Nanak Dev Ji
• Magnetic Hill, a natural phenomenon where vehicles appear to move uphill
• Indus–Zanskar Sangam, where two rivers meet and display contrasting colors

This day is designed to be moderate and comfortable, allowing your body to adjust to altitude while still exploring key attractions.

Return to Leh by evening.

🏨 Overnight stay in Leh

After breakfast, begin your journey towards Nubra Valley, one of the most scenic regions of Ladakh.

Drive via Khardung La Pass (approx. 18,000 ft), known for its dramatic mountain views and as one of the highest motorable roads.

Continue towards Nubra Valley, which is unique for its cold desert landscape, sand dunes, and villages.

Visit:

• Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley, known for its giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley
• Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy an optional ride on rare double-hump camels

You may also explore local villages and interact with residents to understand life in this remote region.

🏨 Overnight stay in Nubra Valley (Camp / Hotel)

After breakfast, proceed towards Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok River route (subject to weather and road conditions).

This drive is one of the most beautiful stretches in Ladakh, passing through rugged mountains, riverbeds, and remote landscapes.

Arrive at Pangong Lake, a high-altitude lake located at around 14,000 ft, known for:

• Its crystal-clear water
• Changing shades of blue depending on sunlight
• Vast open landscapes

Spend time near the lake enjoying the peaceful environment and natural beauty.

🏨 Overnight stay in Pangong Camp

Wake up early to experience the beautiful morning views of Pangong Lake.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh via Chang La Pass (approx. 17,500 ft).

Enroute visit:

• Thiksey Monastery, known for its resemblance to Potala Palace and panoramic views
• Shey Palace & Monastery, an ancient royal residence of Ladakh
• Rancho School (Druk Padma Karpo School), made famous by the movie 3 Idiots

Reach Leh by evening and relax after the long but scenic journey.
