Arrival Srinagar Airport & Local Sightseeing of Srinagar
Pick up from Srinagar airport transfer to houseboat, After refresh visit Mughal Gardens, as Nishat Bagh,built by Asif Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills, Chashama Shahi Garden, Parimahal Garden and Shankarchariya Temple on the Top of Suleiman built by Pando’s in 1765 AD, you will Cover all the Srinagar City from the top, then enjoy one hour shikara ride at Dallake, Dinner & Overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 02
Srinagar – Gulmarg-Srinagar
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg, (56 kms. from Srinagar one way). Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. Srinagar – Pahalgam-Srinagar
After breakfast drive to pahalgam . En-route, visiting the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Avantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Day 04
Srinagar – Sonmarg (90 kms /3 hrs drive approx)
Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque 'Meadow of Gold’ Sonamarg. Sonamerg an alpine valley is situated at the bank of Nallah Sindh, 87 km from North East Srinagar. In late April when Sonamerg is open for road transport, the visitors can have access to snow which is furnished all over like a white carpet. Sonamerg also known as ‘Gateway of LADAKH’. Amarnathji Yatra Also start from Baltal, 12 km from Sonamerg. The fast flowing Sindh river makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajwas Glacier a major attractive during the summer months for some fun in snow and ice.
